This holiday season, the DC 9 Women’s Committee raised $2,000 to donate food to women who are in transition at The Stadium Women’s Shelter in the Bronx. The Stadium Women’s Shelter houses 200 homeless and mentally ill women. Bronx Councilwoman Vanessa L. Gibson was instrumental in linking DC 9 and the shelter.
