SPECIAL SCHOLARSHIP NOTICE
ASSOCIATION OF MASTER PAINTERS
AND DECORATORS OF NEW YORK
INDUSTRY PROMOTION FUND
Any member of Local Unions 18, 19, 20, 24, 113, 490, 1456 and 1486 who has a son or daughter graduating from high school this semester, has maintained at least a B average, and will attend an accredited four-year university, is eligible.
To qualify the applicant must:
- Be the son or daughter whose parent has been a member in good standing with District Council #9 for three continuous years prior to applying for the award and is a member of Local 18, 19, 20, 24, 113, 490, 1456, or 1486, and has earned eligibility working for an employer who has contributed to the Painting Industry Promotion Fund of New York, Inc.
- Be a high school senior who will be graduating during the current academic year and will enter the first year of college in September.
- Has maintained at least a B average in high school.
- Be accepted in any accredited FOUR-YEAR university.
The applicant’s parent MUST be a member in good standing with the Union for a minimum of three years. The deadline to apply is: July 31, 2024.
